Melanie + Murray

Melanie and Murray met in high school back when Gwen Stefani’s Hollaback Girl was cool and Murray cruised the streets of Camrose in his 1984 Mazda GLC. After seven years of falling more and more in love, Melanie woke up one summer morning to a scavenger hunt that Murray planned that took Melanie all over town to all of the places where they had their ‘firsts’. It led her to the middle of Jubilee Park where Murray knelt down on one knee and asked Melanie to make him and the happiest man in the world and be his wife. That following summer they said their I Do’s in their hometown Camrose, AB surrounded by their all their loved ones. They were married at Augustana University and held their reception at a hall just outside of Camrose at Ohaton Hall where tears were shed, stories were told, and memories were made. If these two had to pick a candy to resemble how sweet their love is (cue the cheesiness…) they would pick an ‘m&m.’
